sometimes when you hear the song, you think its nothing, until you actually climb a mountain. no, bukit timah is a tiny hill. yes, i know kk is a mountain, but its not as tall moutain as the other mountains. but climbing it has caused enough pain & well, "suffering". & to think that moses climbed it to get the ten commandments. like wow can. imagine, he only has his stick(not the kk version), that's all. & i really don't think they had proper paths yet during the time. we HAD, well, mud & rock paths. but that's considered proper. & we still had a tough and hard time climbing. & he managed to climb up. & he came down with two heavy tablets made of stone. that would be UBER UBER tough. considering he would have almost reached the peak. like, omgosh, how did he balance on timny edges & climb vericalswith the help of ropes. & yet he made it down the same way too !
guess that's how he was so angry, enough to throw the ten commandments at the people, when he saw they made an idol with their gold. i'm not saying it excusable, i'm just saying its explainable.

didn't do much today. supposed to go with SISTER to the doctor, but MAMA didn't let me in the end. oh, & my zen came today. (: oh, studied MOB & ECONS today. idk how i did it, but i did. surprise surprise.
everything's piling up on me. every single thing that's happening. little things, big things. but it the little things that drives us insane, which is so true. idk how much i can take anymore. i know i'll have to deal with it, or just move on. but its so difficult. :/

JUSTIN : OMGOSH, lol. but i don't think there are bears there, i hope. lol. eh, really look like bear meh ? lol.
okay, better blog about the kk trip before it slips my mind.
DAY 1 : we flew off from sg, & landed in kk. flight took about 2.5 hours ? (btw, CHERISH's bag rocks (: ) then rushed off to the hq on the mountain itself. well, of course that's like a 3 hours drive from the hotel first. then we went to the hot spring. PAPA slipped & fell, & he hurt so badly, he didn't climb kk in the end :/ anyways, hot spring was, really hot. lol. & it had a faint smell of sulphur, but oh wells, it was nice. (: had dinner at the hq. like some steamboat thing ? sat with CHERISH's family, plus SIS & ANNA. well, the food nice :DD slept in semi houses. there was a fireplace mann (: & i dozed off while waiting for hair to dry :/
DAY 2 : woke up early. ate breakfast & prepared for the climb. the pictures would come up later. but PAPA had the camera, so we didn't take any of our own pictures while in the mountains, the others helped us take. (: started hiking at around 11 plus ? it was tiring mann. 6km journey to LABAN RATA, which was our rest house/dorm. vertical challenge mann. MAMA actually said before that walk at our own pace, but many rushed at the start, & they were exhausted before we were. talk about needing stamina, GOSH. there was this one part where its was like a water fall, except no fast gushing water, & that was our path to climb. no rope, no nothing, you fall you hurt yourself, if not, watch out of wet slippery rocks. reached LABAN RATA around 6 plus i think ? ate dinner, then went to sleep.
DAY 3 : hesitation in the morning. SIS & i were contemplating whether to climb to the summit. but we got off the bed anyways, & that was at 1.30 am. ate light breakfast, & waiting. yes, we were supposed to set off at 2.30am, but in the end set off at almost 4am. & guess why ? BAD WEATHER. gosh. its like, uhh, drizzling, & wet weather ain't safe to climb. even the guide was unsure if we sound even go, & many groups which set out earlier actually turned around & came back. talk about discouraging. anyways, we did set out. long tiring supposedly 2.5km upwards. & yes, it was all dark. so we used head torches. WENG YEW told us to look up many time. & yes, the view of the stars were awesome :D the climb to the summit was even more vertical than ever. there was thing LONGGG part where we had to walk along this tiny ledge allog the rocks, with a rope. left was smooth rock, right was a dead drop, & you're shivering from cold & fear on the tiny ledge, like for half your foot only. :/ & that was in way darkness, too scared to stop & look at stars. the sun rose halfway on our climb to the summit. & yes, we saw the "donkey ears". (: there was a longgg part where it was just smooth rocks. large smooth rocks, & you've gotta walk on them for a LONGG distance. definately more than 500m. it was like probably 30degrees or more, plus the drizzle, it slippery. oh, & if you fall & slide down, short cut to LABAN RATA, its a dead drop. :/ climbed only till the 8km mark & turned back. cause of the lack of time. :/ but oh wells, we were high up mann, above clouds. (:
then went our desend. GOSH, i had a bad phobia, & i was shaking lah. the guide who was helping me down pointed at my legs & said something (in another language). from LABAN RATA, with the rest, we hiked back down to the starting point. & yes, making my other injuries worse. :/ both knees hurt, thank God for my STICK :DD lol. okay, shan't talk about the pain. anyways, managed to reach back before it was dark, so heng lah. & went back to the hotel & slept.
DAY 4 : rest day, as it was said. ACHED ALL OVER. :/ :( T.T ate breakfast, then went out with UNLE AH TAI for lunch & all. met AUNT & NICOLE. then saw YAN YAN's MAMA & PAPA. & later saw ALEX at his workplace. yes, they're all relatives. lol. came back & had dinner with the rest at some seafood restaurant where we ate with UNCLE AH TAI 5 year ago.
DAY 5 : ate breakfast again. & we went over to the island. some island, to go SNORKLING :D lol. it was clear water mann. (: we fed promfets at the dock. (: saw so many fishes under water lah. & no, not those diving snorkling, we wore lifejackets & floated out. saw sea slugs, corals, MANY fishes, sea urchins, & we saw a stone fish, too near for comfort till i scremed when i realised it was there. LOL. :/ CHERISH was uber funny lah, she scream, i scream. lol. & WENG YEW cut his leg on the coral by accident :/ had fries, satay & chicken wings back at shore. (: lol. & CHERYL was sunburnt :/ when we went back, the youths all went to the swimming pool. (: SIS ANNA & i went on the slides, ALOT. haha. yeah. then SIS when back early, so while the rest were playing water basketball, ANNA & i went to the other pool to swim laps. :D ate dinner at ANOTHER seafood restaurant, & celebrated PAPA's birthday there (:
CHERISH & CHERYL couldn't come. but ANNA WENG YEW & WENG KIN. & of course SIS & i hanged out till late. played tai ti in our room. then later went down to find parents, ( SIS & i stole myy MAMA's wine. (: ) then later ate supper at the restaurant. actually, SIS & i were plnning to go for ladies night, but age limit was 21 :/ but oh wells, we did have fun hanging out :D
DAY 6 : many left in the morning. but our family was staying another day. ate breakfast. then happened to saw JOY LUCK CLUB on tv. OMGOSH, & yes, i could remember quite some lines :D lol. then met UNCLE AH TAI & went to meet somemore cousind. BREANDA STELLA NICOLE. (: & went shopping (: then later dinner with everyone else. YAN YAN, YAN YAN's boyfriend, KELVIN, ALEX & STELLA's BROTHER was there. lol. took some pictures, but not with our camera. cause PAPA was feeling too well, so he didn't come :/ later YAN YAN, YAN YAN's boyfriend, KELVIN, BRENDA & NICOLE came to our hotel room & we played some card games. tai ti & heart attack, & later went downstairs to walk around. (:
DAY 7 : the day to fly off. BRENDA NICOLE & STELLA came to send us off. so early in the morning okayyy. can't believe they woke up just to send us off. :/ & yes, i'll miss them alot. :/ drats. :/ but its good to be back.

DAY ONE OF KK HIKE
okay, climbed kk today. set out at around 9 ? then we hiked all the way till almost 6 i think ? gosh its tiring. :/ its lik, big vertical steps, steep slopes. so many till it made me thank God for 45degree angle :/ yeah. so its way tough. & uber cold. so weird, but you're freezing, but sweating. GOSH.yes, spastic like me. think it was a 6km hike ? & half the time it was steep slopes upwards, or stairs, or rocks. OHOH, & there was this afews time where its rained heavily on off on off. so we put on ponchos & continued on, GOSH WAS ITS FREEZING. it was said to be 12-16 degrees at that height ? not including rain & wind. :/ anyways, i still had fun. though sister made me panic & had to catch her afew times when she slipped, but it was fine. (: anyways, i'm super exhausted now. worn out mann. :/ left ankle acted up again. along with my right knee. & my right wrist swellup this morning. :/
okay fine, i have to sleep badly. have to wake up at 1.15am tomorrow. afew of us are going to continue hiking on till the summit to catch the sunrise. :DD but heard the temperature would be like 2-4 degrees. so yeah, i swear its cold. :/ & i forgot to bring my specs here. :/ oh wells, good night. daniel : uhh, plane's taking off at 8.50am. lol. OMGOSH, NO WONDER. TYPO TYPO ! its narnia not narina ! LOL.
today was, quite a slack day ? went to school for maths. did maths, FINALLY. lol. then went to the bus stops to take bus to westmall to meet MANGO/JIAYING. :D happened to me ISAAC there, & he was late for his track camp mannn. lol. saw everyone reporting so early & he was walking through the gate at 12 plus ?
met JIAYING, then went to koufu to makan. uhh, with DERRICK/ZUPENG, BOBIN, HUIJIE BENA, & BENA'S COUSIN. lol. yeah. then some of them went back to school ? but i went home home. too tired. & I FELL ASLEEP ON THE BUS. GOSH. :/
y'know what sucks about having a phone sometimes ? (in my situation that is). is to recieve texts, but yet CANNOT reply ! GOSH. i've like got no more texts left. & i've still got a few days more. & i'm like calling everyone. :/ (I'M SO SORRY TO ANYONE I DIDN'T REPLY ! ITS NOT THAT I DON'T WANNA, ITS THAT I CAN'T.)
yes yes, to any that may ask. i'm flying off on monday, 9th june. & i'll only be back on the 15th june. so yeah. i'm sorry to any that i didn't tell you of this, I CAN'T TEXT. :/

yesterday
lunched with PAPA at clementi west, cha siew rice. :D lol. yeah, then checked out our house. yayy, there's finally a roof mann. :D lol.then went to school for maths. in the end only ZUPENG/DERRICK & i attended. so it was like, consultation ? lol. CECELIA MANGO/JIAYING & BOBIN popped by afew times. (: yeah. then waiting for EK'E then went to meet DANIEL & JEREMY at ps. caught NARINA :D haha, shit, i laughed like mad, as usual. :/ yeah, & gosh, i lost my ezlink card & checkered phone pouch. okay, ezlink was in the pouch, & i think i dropped in the cinema :/ but couldn't find. I'M SO SORRY, Y'ALL HAD TO RUN UP & DOWN TO ACCOMPANY ME FIND IT ! :/ PAPA & MAMA fetched, & reached home at like, 12.30am plus. lol.
today
woke up early to go meet YIJING at douby gaut mrt. waiting for sometime. & yes, happened to see some ndp people there too ! haha, yeah, waiting for like almost 15minutes, then called her. & guess what, we were waiting at the two ends of the mrt for each other ! haha, she was at the red side, & i was at the purple side ! lol. caught MADE OF HONOUR. lol. ITS HILARIOUS, but it was uber sad at this certain part. yeah. ate ben & jerrys :DD then WALKED to bugis street. lol. bought one t-shirt, one shirt & a belt. ate pastamania then headed back home.
now we're starting to pack for our hiking trip already. sooo many clothes. :/ how to squeeze in a back pack ? :/
SAIFUL flew off today. :/ actually, i didn't know the time he was going to fly, until he called & said he was gonna leave soon. omgosh. :/ i'm uber sad. but, hope he has fun. (: HAVE A SAFE TRIP. :D
